50 whisky Distillery Tours list in Scotland we visit – By Region: Speyside, Islay, and More

Here’s a list of Scottish whisky distilleries that offer tours.

This isn’t all of them, but for us who visited 50, just researching whether they were open to the public or not was quite a task, so please use this as a reference.

Except for Talisker and Torabhaig, we went to everywhere by public transport or taxi, so I’ve noted recommended bases for going by train or bus.

Islay has a lot of smoky whisky made with peat.

Some places do floor malting, and while it may be a bit far to go, I highly recommend visiting for a tour.
