Jura Distillery Tour Review[photos]islands-Scotland
We visited Jura Distillery, north of Islay. Taking the poorly connected ferry and bus (lol), we made the most of beautiful Jura! Ardnahoe Distillery is a new distillery on Islay, so the facilities were really lovely too. It had only just been built in 2018, and the whisky hasn't been bottled yet, but at the end of the distillery tour we could do a tasting. Leaving Islay behind, we went from there by ferry and bus to the town of Campbeltown. In Campbeltown, we visited Springbank Distillery, Glengyle Distillery, and Glen Scotia Distillery. We stayed in a town called Perth in the Highland area of Scotland, and from there took a bus to Aberfeldy Distillery. Following Aberfeldy and Tullibardine, we took the bus from the town of Perth to The Glenturret Distillery. Glenturret changed owners, and its bottle design changed to something very stylish.
