Ardnahoe Distillery Tour Review[photos]Islay-scotland
Ardnahoe Distillery is a new distillery on Islay, so the facilities were really lovely too. It had only just been built in 2018, and the whisky hasn't been bottled yet, but at the end of the distillery tour we could do a tasting. Leaving Islay behind, we went from there by ferry and bus to the town of Campbeltown. In Campbeltown, we visited Springbank Distillery, Glengyle Distillery, and Glen Scotia Distillery. Our third stop in Campbeltown was Glen Scotia Distillery.Glen Scotia is also one of the precious three distilleries remaining in Campbeltown.Its whisky has won awards, and honestly I didn't know much about it before, but after going to the distillery it became a whisky I love. We stayed in a town called Perth in the Highland area of Scotland, and from there took a bus to Aberfeldy Distillery. The day after visiting Aberfeldy Distillery, we went to Tullibardine Distillery. This one, too, we could reach with a single bus from the town of Perth. It was a distillery standing grandly in a small town.The tasting was in a lovely space, like a lovely bar.Here's a look at our visit. - Page 2
